The 2007 Georgia Games (Racquetball)

Michael Kaufman and I, along with the staff at the Concourse Athletic Club, are pleased that you are playing in this year's event.  We hope to make it enjoyable as we can.  Thanks once again.

A few things to keep in mind.

That link to the TMS site on the left of this screen is very important.  I strongly suggest that your bookmark it.  It is THE tournament website.

It is there that you can find all of the draws, starting times, results, etc. and they will be kept up-to-date throughout the tournament.

The Draws and the Starting Times Report are accessed through tabs ("Draws" and "Reports") on the left of that screen

All play will start at 3:30 pm Friday.  To my knowledge, all requested avoidances were accommodated.  Please be on time and you may have at least one back-to-back match if you entered two events.  Matches are tightly scheduled, so don't be late!  Saturday play starts at 11 am and Sunday play begins at 9 am.

The nature of the "Olympic" and "Drop down" draws used in some events is explained at the website.  It will give all the players about 3 matches to play and let them move to their proper skill level among that group of players by actually playing.  This applies to Open Doubles and the Men's B Singles.

There are third place matches and medals in all events with 3 or more players.  Most third place matches were scheduled for 3 pm Sunday, but if you both agree to play earlier, that can be arranged.  Be sure to talk to me about it once you know who you are and agree to another time to play the match.

Directions and a map to the club are also available at the website by using the "Site" tab on the left of the screen.  You will notice right away that this is one of the finest athletic clubs in the Atlanta area.  All of its facilities are open for your use. Locks are available at the front desk, but you must deposit an ID card.

Again, we hope you have a great time and look forward to seeing you there!  The best of luck to you in all of your matches.
